Columbia, MO Dog Training Schools

Petropolis Academy started educating students in 1993. The dog training school is located in our state-of-the-art facility at Petropolis Pet Center in Chesterfield, MO. Petropolis opened it’s doors in 1988, and has continued to bring together the many needs of household pets – all under one “woof.”

The instructors at the dog training school are the best in the business. The Academy is certified to operate by the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education, and is also a member of the Missouri Association of Private Career Schools. Rob Schenberg, the head instructor and training director at the school, started his dog business career over 25 years ago. Since 1990, Rob has been a Professional Trade School Program teacher, educator for behavior modification, and instructor for AKC Obedience, Schutzhund titles, and scent detection. He has taught the National Narcotic Detector Dog certification program, and is a registered canine handler with the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration.
